As an investment advisory firm, GMG Asset Management, Inc. is paid on a percentage of assets managed basis. This aligns our firms interests with our clients; if our clients accounts gain in value, then the revenue our firm receives increases as well. If our clients values decrease, then so does the revenue which would be due to our firm.
Fees, as a percentage of assets, range from .5% annually for fixed income portfolios, to 2.5% annually for aggressive growth accounts. Fees are ordinarily deducted from clients accounts on a quarterly basis, although clients may choose to receive an invoice and remit payment.
At certain levels of assets that clients may attain with us, breakpoints are enacted.
We do not act in the capacity of broker dealer nor are we a custodian of assets, so therefore we do not charge commission on any product or service we sell. Clients will pay a commission to the brokerage firm where their account(s) are held. In carefully researching the firms where our clients accounts are held, We recommend brokerage firms where the discounted commission schedule is very competitive. Prior to opening an account clients should review the fee schedule published by the custodian and brokerage firm.
